    Comox Glacier
Known by some as Queneesh, meaning great white whale, this huge glacier watches over the comox valley and provides the spectacular backdrop for the Mt. Washington area. The glacier has been attracting ambitious climbers since the 1920's, and outdoor enthusiasts still flock to the area in the summer months for a chance at conquering this ice queen. Hiking the entire glacier usually takes three days.
