Located 10 km (6 mi) southwest of Courtenay, the lake can be reached by the road to Cumberland, 6 km (3.7 mi) south of Courtenay off Highway 19.

Located 25 km (15.5 mi) south of Campbell River and 30 km (18.5 mi) northwest of Courtenay, this lake is overflowing with Rainbow Trout.

Strait of Georgia

The strait connects with Puget Sound in the south and Johnstone Strait in the north and contains several islands, including the Gulf Islands. As well as being a popular body of water for diving and whale-watching, the strait is a major navigation channel for ferries and cruise ships.
